Studio's Policies 

We have developed the following policies to give clarification of how our studio works and answer some of your questions. Please reach out to us if we missed anything!

Hours

Our studio closes one hour early when there are no active painters remaining in the studio. The last seating to paint is 1 hour and 30 minutes before the posted closing time. You can find a list of our current hours posted here at the header and footer of our website.

  • Holiday Hours: Holiday hours and observed holidays will be posted on social media and on the homepage of our website a week in advance

  • Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, we may close the studio early or choose not to open. Please call or check our website or social media to confirm our hours.

Events and Celebrations

Children's Birthday Parties (Ages 6 and Under)

  • Duration: Parties are scheduled for 1 hour, which includes time for painting and any cake/cupcakes.

  • Structure: This time frame is designed to align with the attention spans and energy levels of younger children, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.

  • Supervision: We kindly ask that one parent/guardian is present for the celebration to supervise their children throughout the event and maintain a safe and organized environment.

  • Extensions: Due to the nature of our schedule and the needs of this age group, we are unable to offer time extensions for parties with children aged 6 and under.

 

Children's Birthday Parties (Ages 7 and Up)

  • Duration: Parties consist of 90 minutes—1 hour for painting and 30 minutes for singing Happy Birthday, taking photos, and sharing cake or snacks.

  • Food Arrangements: If you plan to order pizza or other food, please check with our staff and plan accordingly.

  • Extensions: We charge $45 for every additional 30 minutes over the allocated time for the party. Extensions are available only if there is no other event scheduled immediately after your party.

Adult Events

  • BYOB Friendly: You’re welcome to bring wine, beer, or champagne to celebrate! (No hard liquor, please.)

  • Setup Time: You may arrive 15 minutes early to set up any food, drinks, or decorations.

  • Party Duration: Parties are scheduled for 2 hours, which includes time for painting, socializing, and enjoying snacks or drinks.

  • Extensions: Want more time? If the studio schedule allows, you may extend your party for an additional $45 per half hour. If your guests do not finish their pieces within the allocated time, they may take their work with them and schedule a good time to return to finalize it. A studio fee will be applicable.

  • Cleanup Note: Please ensure that all personal items and decorations are removed by the end of your scheduled time, as we often have events following yours.

Studio Rental: If you are hosting an event before or after hours, we are happy to work with you to ensure the time allocated for your group is just right!

Confirmation Proces

  • 3 Days Before: You'll receive a confirmation email 3 days prior to your event.

  • Why It Matters: Your response helps us plan staffing and materials to ensure a smooth, fun experience.

Attendance Policy

  • No-Shows: If a guest does not attend on the day of your event, a fee may apply.

  • Why? We purchase materials and coordinate staff based on your RSVP count—accurate headcounts help us deliver the best experience.

  • Questions or Concerns? We're always happy to work with you—just reach out if you have any questions.

Events & Party Studio Time

Studio Reservations and Fees  

  • Online Reservation: When possible, we recommend reserving a table online; this will guarantee you a table. You will get a Google Calendar invite to confirm your reservation and reservation details.

  • Groups of 6+ Painters: If your group is 6 painters or larger, we request a deposit of $35 that will be applied to your total cost. For groups of 10+ painters, the deposit is $50. Keep in mind that if any of your guests are a no-show, there is a $10 fee for absent painters.

  • Reservation Time: The price of each ceramic piece includes 90 minutes of studio time.

  • What’s Included: Your session includes paints, glazing, firing, use of the studio, and assistance from our staff.

  • Need More Time? You can extend your painting time for $7 per painter for 30 extra minutes, if tables are available.

Studio's Supplies and Glazes  

  • Respect for Supplies: We ask all painters—kids and adults—to treat brushes, glazes, and tools with care. Misuse (like cutting brushes or wasting glaze) affects everyone’s experience.

  • Redoing a Piece: Once painting begins, you may not rinse off your piece to start over.

  • Start-Over Fee: If you decide to wash off your design and repaint, we charge a $20 redo fee, in addition to the cost of the pottery.

  • Need Help? Mistakes happen! Just ask—we’re always happy to help you fix small painting issues without starting from scratch.

Studio's Supplies & Glazes

Slippery Hands - Conduct Policy  

Since pottery is breakable and we generally have custom pieces in process, it is unacceptable to have children running in the studio. While our staff will try to control this, it is ultimately the responsibility of parents/guardians to discourage this type of behavior. Our policy is to charge 50% of the price of a broken piece to cover our expenses of purchase, shipping, and stocking.

Pottery Pick-Ups | Storage

  • Pickup time: The studio closes one hour early daily when there are no active painters present. To ensure we are open for your pick-up, kindly plan to pick up your finished pottery at least one hour before our standard closing time, or give us a call to coordinate pickup.

  • Processing Time: Your pottery will be ready for pickup approximately 7–10 days after painting to allow for glazing and kiln firing.

  • We'll Notify You: We’ll send you a text message when your item is ready. If we can’t reach you by text, we may follow up with a call.

  • Didn't Hear From Us? Sometimes messages get missed or filtered. If you haven’t heard from us, please reach out 10 days after painting—your piece is likely ready and waiting!

  • Storage Timeline: We can only hold your finished pottery for 30 days from your painting date.

  • Extended Storage Fee: After 30 days, we charge a $20 storage fee and retrieval fee

  • Unclaimed Pottery: Items not picked up within the storage window (and without prior arrangements) may be donated or discarded to make room for new work.

Form of Payment

Payment in full is required at the time of check-out or in advance in the case of deposits, class registrations, or special ordered items. We do not allow payments at pick-up. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE cash! And we happily accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Sorry- No Personal Checks.

Payment

Purchases, Refunds & Exchanges

All sales are final. This includes all artwork, bisque pieces for paint your own, art kits, gift certificates/cards, and event fees. Deposits for events can be turned into store credit if canceled within 48hrs of reservation.  If you are pre-ordering a special piece such as Christmas Trees and you do not show up at the time of your reservation, it is your responsibility to reschedule your studio time within 3 days or you will forfeit your deposit.

Refund & Exchanges

Reservations

Reservations are not required unless it's for a specific studio event. If you have made a reservation with our studio, we expect that you will show up within 15 minutes of your reservation time. Tables will not be held for your group longer than 15 minutes past your scheduled arrival time. If you need to make an adjustment to your reservation, please call the studio as soon as it is known and we will happily work with you to arrange a mutually agreeable date and time whenever possible.

Reservation

Cancellations for events or classes:

Deposits ensuring that you have the space reserved for that specific date and time will go towards the full payment of your event. Deposits for events are non-refundable, with 48 hours' notice, parties may be rescheduled or the deposit may be converted to store credit.  

 

Registration for classes or special events is non-refundable.

Class/ Workshop/Brush and Sip cancellation or NO-SHOWS:

Event Deposits:

  • Deposits for events are non-refundable.

  • With a 48-hour notice, the deposit may be converted to store credit.

No-Show Policy:

  • If you do not call and do not attend the event, you are considered a "no-show."

  • No refund or store credit will be issued due to incurred expenses and the potential loss of selling the spot to another customer.

Tuition Fees:

  • All tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • No refunds are given for missed classes for any reason.

  • Students may join another session within six weeks of the current session, provided there is availability.

Studio Cancellation:

  • In the rare event that the studio cancels your event for unforeseen reasons, a refund or store credit will be offered for the amount paid.
