After-School Enrichment Program 

Come Play with Clay! ​

We will use basic clay hand-building techniques and explore new ones. Classes are designed for children with some clay experience or none. This is a 6-week class and includes instruction, supplies, glazes, and firing.

Class Options:

After School Clay Class Mondays

Mondays: 4:30 - 6 pm m (age group 7-14 - limited to 8 students)

Price for 6 weeks: $198 (siblings get 10% off)

After School Clay Class Tuesdays

Tuesdays: 3 - 4:30 pm (age group 47-14 - limited to 8 students)

Price for 6 weeks: $198 (siblings get 10% off)

Techniques we will cover:

• Prepare clay by  properly wedging

• Rolling coils, slabs, and pinch pots

• Using the "slip and score" method of attaching pieces of clay together

• Different ways to add texture to  your slabs

• Creating and adding handles to your piece of pottery

• Different glazing techniques to finalize the project

Classes are limited to 8 students. ALL tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.​  NO refunds are given for missed classes for any reason.​ Students are welcome to come into the studio and join another session if we have availability to make up classes during the six weeks of the session.
